"Abide in me, and I in you." — John 15:4
Based in Celina, TX, True Vine Mission Academy bridges the gap between profound cognitive ability and the motor challenges that hide it. By presuming competence and delivering grade-level academics, we replace the low expectations of traditional special education with true restoration.
Unlocking the voices and God-given intellect of non-speaking students through presumed competence and academic equity.

Targeted exercises that build the motor pathways necessary for communication and independence.
Specialized visual therapy to develop the eye tracking and focus needed for reading and learning.
Movement-based learning that harnesses the connection between body and brain for academic growth.
Evidence-based music therapy that activates neurological pathways for communication and regulation.
Water-based therapeutic sessions that support sensory integration, motor development, and joy.
Every student will write. Through the Spellers Method, we unlock written expression and give every learner a voice on the page.
Faith-rooted discipleship woven into every school day — identity in Christ is foundational to everything.
Rooted in the Spellers Method, we deliver real curriculum with real expectations — presuming competence and replacing life-skills ceilings with academic freedom.

Everything you need to know about True Vine Mission Academy, the Spellers Method, and how to get involved.
The Spellers Method is an evidence-based approach to communication that presumes competence in nonspeaking individuals. Rather than assuming limited intelligence due to the inability to speak, the Spellers Method teaches students to communicate by spelling out words and sentences — unlocking the voices and intellect that have always been present. It is grounded in the understanding that motor challenges, not cognitive limitations, are what prevent many nonspeaking individuals from communicating.
Spelling is designed for individuals with motor-sensory challenges that prevent them from producing reliable or effective speech. All communication requires motor skills — the inability to speak does not mean a person has nothing to say or does not understand the world around them.
At True Vine Mission Academy, we welcome students who are nonspeaking, minimally speaking, or whose speech is unreliable. We believe the barrier is motor, not intellectual — and every voice deserves to be heard.
True Vine Mission Academy is designed for nonspeaking and minimally speaking students who have historically been placed in "life-skills" programs rather than given access to grade-level academic instruction. We serve students with autism, motor differences, and other conditions that affect verbal communication — students whose intelligence has been underestimated or overlooked by traditional special education systems.
True Vine Mission Academy is set to open in February 2027 in Celina, TX — located in the greater DFW area of North Texas. We are currently in the process of identifying our permanent 14-acre campus, which will be a nature-integrated facility purpose-built for the sensory and academic needs of our students. Stay connected via our Facebook page for updates on our campus search and launch timeline.
We are currently preparing for our February 2027 opening and will be accepting enrollment inquiries soon. To set every student up for success, we ask that families commit to at least 6 months of spelling practice prior to enrollment. These sessions will be conducted with our in-house Spellers Method therapist, ensuring every student builds a strong foundation and is fully prepared to thrive in our academic environment from day one. If you have a child you believe would benefit, we encourage you to reach out now to get on our interest list. Contact us at info@truevinespellers.com or call 214-233-5366 to get on our interest list.
Yes. True Vine Mission Academy is built on a Christian foundation, rooted in John 15:4. We believe every child is a masterpiece of God, created with purpose and dignity. Our curriculum integrates Christian Bible study and discipleship alongside academics and therapy. This means our biblical instruction, prayer, worship, and daily practices are shaped by Scripture alone as our ultimate authority. That said, our doors are open to all families who believe in the potential of their nonspeaking child — regardless of background.
Our whole-child model integrates a wide range of therapeutic and academic supports, including: intentional motor development, ocular motor strengthening, purposeful movement training, neurological music therapy, aquatic therapy, writing development, Christian Bible study, grade-level academics via the Spellers Method, and family partnership programming. Every element is designed to address the full child — body, mind, and spirit.
True Vine Mission Academy is a nonprofit organization and we are committed to making our programs as accessible as possible to the families who need them most. We are actively fundraising through donations, grants, and community partnerships to reduce financial barriers. For specific tuition and funding questions as we approach our 2027 opening, please contact us at info@truevinespellers.com.
Every dollar makes a direct difference. You can donate through our Givebutter donation page on this site, which funds our programs, staff training, and our $2.5M land acquisition campaign to secure our permanent 14-acre campus in Celina, TX. You can also support us by volunteering, spreading the word, or following our journey on Facebook.
Traditional special education often places nonspeaking students in "life-skills" programs that assume limited cognitive ability based on the inability to speak. True Vine Mission Academy takes the opposite approach — we presume full competence and deliver grade-level academics using the Spellers Method. We believe the barrier is motor, not intellectual, and we build our entire program around unlocking what is already there.
Currently, True Vine Mission Academy does not accept insurance or vouchers. We are committed to exploring all possible funding options to make our programs as accessible as possible, and we encourage families to reach out to discuss financial support opportunities. Please contact us at info@truevinespellers.com or call 214-233-5366.
True Vine Mission Academy will operate on a year-round school calendar. We believe consistent, uninterrupted learning is key to the progress and growth of our students.
Whether you're a family seeking enrollment information, a potential partner, or someone who feels called to support our mission — we want to hear from you.
